Autumn on the “golden” island of Krk in Croatia
We are approaching, by many, the best part of the year, when it’s still warm enough for all summer adventures and joys but the crowdedness is easing off, which has its charm. Although the summer on the island of Krk, as a proper tourist gem, is the most interesting time of the year because you can enjoy numerous interesting events, rich programmes, swimming and sunbathing on a daily basis, our “golden island” has guests all year round. Its natural beauty, the scent of the sea and medicinal herbs, hiking and bicycling trails attract many adventurists or those who love peace and relaxation and a bit lower temperatures.
It is less crowded in autumn, the temperatures are not as high as the sun loses its power. Days are getting shorter and nature is coloured in beautiful autumn colours. Autumn events on the island of Krk
27.09.2019. starting at 18:00 o’clock there will be a concert held in Baška celebrating the world tourism day.
28.09.2019 at 11:00 o’clock starts the Lidl Malinska Run- a series of Run Croatia races. After the race, a big party will be held on the Malin hotel beach. Whether you are a runner or you just like a good time, join us in the biggest party for the whole family!
04.10.2019.-06.10.2019. in Punat, 24th Olive days will be taking place where you can take part in education, presentations and tasting autochthonous local products.
05.10.2019.-27.10.2019. in Malinska, Olive Touch is being held- weekend programmes within which you get to visit the olive groves as well as pick the olives, taste olive oils and enjoy wellness programmes based on olive products.
11.10.2019. 10:00- 13.10.2019 19:00 Baška Outdoor Festival will be held. It will be a weekend filled with activities for active people like bicyclists, runners, hikers wanting to explore the nature of Baška. It offers five attractive outdoor sports programmes to visitors eager to do sports in the outdoors, like trail running, mountain biking, from hiking to climbing and ziplining, with special accommodation offers.
