Celebrate New Year’s Eve in the beautiful Kvarner

We have a feeling this year flew by, and the new one is just about to start. It’s the right time to make some new decisions and turn a new page. New year, new us, right?
The New Year’s Eve is a chance for Croatia to show it is not just a summer destination. In this period many hotels open their doors and have special offers. Most cities have decorated streets and squares, New Year’s Eve celebrations are being organized in the open with fireworks and performances of Croatian musicians.

New Year’s Eve on the islands
In hotel Malin in Malinska, New Year’s Eve celebrations for all generations will be taking place. You can choose between Young & Fun New Year, Royal New Year, Classic New Year and Kids New Year.
Fireworks from the coast will be organized in the center of Punat.
The town of Rab is already prepared for its December fairytale. The Advent program is all set up, and the residents and their visitors will enter the new year with Tony Cetinski.
The New Year’s Eve celebration in Mali Lošinj will take place in the Trg Republike Hrvatske, starting at 10.30pm, with a performance by Petar Grašo.
New Year’s Eve celebration in Rijeka
If you happen to be in Rijeka, you will enter the new year with Nikolina Tomljanović, Dubioza kolektiv and Nina Badrić, who will be performing in Korzo.
A children’s celebration with animators is being organized in Trsatska gradina. Bring your little ones at 10am and let them enjoy a fun celebration. The celebration for adults starts at 9pm, and you will be entertained by klapa Nevera and DJ Šošo.
The day before New Year’s Eve celebration in Crikvenica
Yes, yes, you read well. In Crikvenica they celebrate the day before New Year’s Eve, December 30th, starting at 6pm. They’ll be flying colorful, lit up balloons with good wishes for the new year, and you will be entertained by Giuliano.
New Year’s Eve celebration in Opatija
In the Summer stage, a celebration for the youngest starts at noon. In the evening, the central celebration in the towns’ market will relive some of the most popular hits of the 20th century with a program called “Opatija Tribute to the Legends”, starting at 10pm. The performers will be the Queen Real Tribute and Abba Real Tribute band. At the same time, in front of the Šporer, the Groovers will take care of the New Year’s celebration, and in the Summer stage, 2019. will be sent off by he Dellboys, rock style.
